an effective tattoo is a custom work of art that allows a person to stand apart from the rest of the world and a personality and a appearance. i think tattoos have so much more power and significance thank we think they do. us as society always have to defend them and minimise them and say its no big deal " its just a little thing", "just something I'm getting", they are a big deal. they're one of the greatest human invention, their emotion, they're psychology, they're memory, they're identity, they're so much to us. they're who we are, externalised, there everything to us.
at the beginning of the 20th century, tattoos were still viewed as something only sailors or criminals would have, "the underbelly of the society" according to the times. however, times began to change they were populated and became fashion statement, a fragment of one’s personality display upon their body. and because of this the rising of poplar artists began.
